Again Ortom Calls Akume “Mai Gulder” as He Officially flags Off Gubernatorial Campaign

For the second time within the space of a few weeks , Governor Samuel Ortom has blasted Senator George Akume for being an alcoholic, referring to him as “Mai Gulder” .

Ortom made this remark today as he officially flagged off his campaign for the governorship position of the state.

He is hoping to extend his tenure for another four years but now under another platform- the PDP.

While delivering his address, he took aim at Senator George Akume, referring to him as “Mai Gulder”- a drunkard.

Governor Ortom had in 2015 crossed over from the PDP to the APC after he had failed to secure the Governorship ticket of the PDP.

The APC had welcomed him with open hands and stepped down the victory of Barr. Emmanuel Jime.

However, as fate will play out, Emmanuel Jime is now the candidate for the APC thereby rekindling an old love lost battle.

Overtime, due to internal squabbling with the God father of APC aim Benue; Senator George Akume, Ortom later left the party to pick the PDP ticket.

The official flag off heralds the beginning of campaigns round the 23 local government areas of Benue State.
